Pamela D. Nicholson is the 16th President of the Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Initiated January 27, 2013, by Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Mrs. Nicholson has served in many capacities during her tenure in the Chapter Recording Secretary 2013-2015, Treasurer 2015-2019, and various committees. President 2019-Current. She has been a very active member of the chapter for 7 years.
Mrs. Nicholson has a Masters in Financial Management and Accounting and is the Finance Director of a Federally Qualified Health Center and has been providing accounting services for 22 years. She provides financial workshops, and contractual accounting services to business and organizations. Mrs. Nicholson is also a Certified Phlebotomist.
Mrs. Nicholson serves in many other organizations including member of North Carolina Community Health Center Association, Palestine #79 Order of Eastern Star-Conductress and Secretary, held and lead a community drive for victims of Hurricane Matthew October 2016. Mrs. Nicholson is also a member of Carpenter Assembly #164-Secretary and Ouda Court# 151-Oriental Guide.
Her hobbies include crocheting, reading, cooking and giving back to the community, and always willing to help when she can.
Pamela and her husband Richard “Nic” Nicholson of 13 years reside in Richmond County, NC.

Marvena Rush- Wall, is the 1st Vice President, of Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Initiated January 27, 2013, by Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Mrs. Rush-Wall has served in many capacities to include: the chairman of the Membership Services/Reclamation Committee, 2nd Vice President, Scholarship Committee, Social Committee, Social Action Committee, Risk Management Committee (Co-chair), Program Planning and Development Committee, and Jabberwock Committee.
Mrs. Rush-Wall earned her Master of Arts - May 1989 (Education Administration and Supervision) at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Although retired from Richmond Community College (after 30 years of dedicated service) in the following positions: Director of Student Services, Director of Workforce and Economic Development, Scotland Center Director, and Job Training Coordinator, she is now employed with Marlboro County High School as the Career Specialist.
Mrs. Rush-Wall is very active in her community including being a member of Sneed Grove AME Zion Church, President of the Richmond County Democratic Women, and member of the Richmond County Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee.
Marvena is married to Raymond David Wall Jr., and has one daughter who is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Her hobbies include Shopping, Exercising and Collecting shoe figurines.
Arnetra Shaw, (Not Picture-Coming Soon) is the 2nd Vice President with the Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Initiated January 27, 2013, by Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Ms. Shaw has served Recording Secretary, 2015-2017, P-13 Committee-Chair, Adopt A Highway-chair and a member of various committees.
Ms. Shaw has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling (concentration Mental Health Counseling).
Ms. Shaw is active in her community including being a member The Church of God, Licensed Professional Counselor Association, American Counseling Association and Hospice of Laurinburg, NC.
Hobbies include reading, spending time with family, vacationing, collecting key chains & shot glasses and completing community service projects.
Denita Harrington Campbell, is the Treasurer of the Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Initiated January 27, 2013, by Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Mrs. Campbell is serving and has served in many capacities to include: Member of Finance Committee, Co-chair of Domestic Violence Committee, Past Financial Secretary, Former (Appointed) 2nd Vice President, and a former committee member of the Social Action, Scholarship/May Week, and Membership Services/Reclamation Committees.
She has a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services. Mrs. Campbell works at Southeastern Community and Family Services, Inc., where she is the Assistant Head Start Director/Family and Community Partnerships (FCP) Manager.
Mrs. Campbell community activities include, but is not limited to, the following: (1) Secretary of Scotland County Democratic Party [Precinct #7], Wagram, NC, (2) Board Member of the NC Pre-K [Scotland County], and (3) Former member of DSS Board (Scotland County). As an active member of Unionville Missionary Baptist Church, Soror Campbell serves as President of the Usher Ministry. She, also, served in, or held the following positions: Director of Christian Education, Director of Music, Musician, Choir Member, and Sunday School Teacher.
Denita is the wife of Robert Lee Campbell, and they reside in Wagram, NC.
Her hobbies include crocheting, reading, and writing.
Nina Stanback, is of the Corresponding Secretary of Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Initiated January 27, 2013, by Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Mrs. Stanback serves as Co- Chair for Program Planning and Development, Co-Chair of the hospitality committee, and serves as committee member on various other committees.
Mrs. Stanback obtained her a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She has worked in the mental health field for 16 years in various different positions and is currently pursing licensure to become a licensed mental health counselor.
Nina has been married to John Stanback Jr. for 12 years and with this union they have a nine-year-old daughter, Tristen. She is the oldest child of Risden and Orga Ellerbe, Jr.
Hobbies include being a cheer mom, traveling and spending time with her family.
Chiquita Brown-Harrington, is the Recording Secretary for the Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter. Initiated into the Omicron Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. on April 8, 2005 on the campus of University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Mrs. Harrington has served as Social Committee Chair, Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee and a member of various committees.
Mrs. Harrington received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2008 and a Bachelor Social Work in 2012 from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is employed by Scotland County School Systems as Lead School Social Worker, and is a member of the Attendance Committee, On Track Progress Team, School Improvement Team, Judicial Attendance Counsel, Scotland County Collaborative.
Mrs. Harrington is a Certified Crisis Prevention Institute Trainer, Task Supervisor for student interns majoring in Social Work, 504 Coordinator, trains new School Social Workers for Scotland County Schools. She has been employed by Scotland County Schools for 24 years serving as School Social Worker for 8 years.
Her hobbies include shopping, watching movies and listening to music and her favorite place to vacation is the beach.
She is the daughter of Rosa and the late Earl Brown. Her greatest reward is her daughter Omega Roberson.
She and her husband William will celebrate 4 years of marriage May 2. They reside in Scotland County.

E. Cheri Bennett, serves as the Financial Secretary for the Laurinburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Ms. Bennett was initiated on March 31, 1985, Gamma Lambda Chapter, at Johnson C. Smith University.
Ms. Bennett has a BA in Urban Studies and Community Affairs from Johnson C. Smith University and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a registered NC Notary Public and a Certified ServSafe Instructor and Registered Proctor. She is employed by North Carolina State University as a Nutrition Educator with NC Cooperative Extension-Union County Center. She is a member of the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Johnson C. Smith University.
Ms. Bennett loves spending time with her adult children. Throughout her life she has enjoyed community service in her own community and internationally, as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Her hobbies include traveling, writing, and attending theatrical productions.
Ms. Bennett resides in eastern Anson County.
